Can I watch recordings on EE TV app?

Hi, wondering if anyone can help.

I have a EE TV pro (the latest one apparently) but can’t seem to be able to watch my recordings on the EE TV app…it just says ‘you can watch your recordings on your tv box at home’. 

Should I be able to watch these on the app? It seems pretty pointless if not.

Unfortunately the TV boxes don't offer any way to share recordings with other devices - you can only watch them directly on the box.

The EE TV app allows you to schedule / list / delete recordings from anywhere, but not watch them.

Thanks for your quick reply. That falls quite short of the sky go app then, as you could do all that plus watch recordings on there. (I’ve just transferred over from sky to ee). 
Do you know whether EE  have any plans to develop the app in this way by any chance?

We'd love to add it to the app, but unfortunately we can't get permission from the broadcasters to allow the box to share recordings with other devices.

I think you'll find because sky is the main broadcaster of these channels.

i just ordered ee and this is one of the features i would need,might have to cancel now.

You will find that the vast majority of what you might want to watch is available on the catchup players on whatever device you might have EETV on.
