Apple TV trial not working

Hi

Like many others I'm really struggling to activate the 6 month free Apple TV subscription.  I have the add on live on my account, however the link  I was sent via 150 does not work, just goes straight to apple tv home page with the offer of a free 7 day trial. I've had two lengthy calls with EE now, one suggesting I openened the link over mobile data (doesn't work) and another where I was just fobbed off and never heard back. Not sure why something so seemingly simple is proving complicated with zero support on offer from EE. Does anyone have any suggestions how to fix this?

Checked settings, no VPN.  Only link i had via email went to EE log in??.

When i go to activate Apple TV, it always says having problems, try again later

I know it must be frustrating all the questions, I just want to make sure we have covered everything. 

Have you been able to try another browser?

I have tried Edge instead of chrome to EE website, it hasnt Apple TV as an extra, its only on my app?

I had a lot of trouble getting the trial to work. I finally managed to activate the trial on my phone after being told that Wi-Fi has to be disabled on your phone when you use the link.

Ive just been told by EE that it is highly unlikely that I will be able to activate my 6 month free trial of Apple TV+ due to ongoing glitches between Apple and EE!!!!!

So why are they still advertising the offer?

Thanks for the possible solution. My link certainly had the &a correctly however when I clicked on that and was taken to the Apple site it said my number could not be verified. I made sure I didn’t have an existing subscription etc and no luck. Tried deleting the add on and now I can’t add anything back in. Disappointing as the Apple Music add on worked perfectly! Any chance I could still get the add on?

When you say you deleted the add-on, was this from your EE account?

When we order Apple TV+ for you, we must provide a mobile number to link the subscription to, we just have this wrong if you’re getting that error.

If you send me a private message with the details I’ll fix it for you, you’ll need to wait for a moderator to give you the ability to send a private message. 
Alternatively, you can call the helpdesk and ask for your case to be passed to TMC and they can do it for you too.
