Potential hack

Jono249
Explorer

I have over a period of time experienced some anomalies with my devices.

password changes, random pop ups, file docs, ip-Mac address, find my phone ip location under different locations under different devices.

im between trying to solve this or officially reporting this issues.

I would really like some ones take on this if possible.

thank you

Hi @Jono249

Most of these issues are down to poor user security or installing apps/websites which install malicious code.

Change your account password and factory reset your device. Make sure your email password is different to your email, i wouid recommended using google/MS authentication app and two stage authentication on all your services.

Dont write down passwords and don't share your device. Make sure you use a VPN over public wifi (inc hotels, pub etc)

Thanks

Leanne.

Thank you for the reply, I’m ex r.signals.

This was to flush them out if nothing else.

I never wrote passwords down unless I want them to be used with in the environment, it 100% flushes the idiot out.

It’s now unfortunately being raised and going to be promptly dealt with accordingly.

Many thanks for the reply
