So nearly fell for this - I upgraded my phone last week, good job my inquisitive mind made me search for the points programme, only to come across this thread. Too coincidental EE, as with other reports here, someone on the inside of EE knows the crack on upgrade information and is driving this. You need to sort it.

Please forward the message to 7726, so that it can be investigated, @Nayabaz. Please don't follow the link.
Thank you.

I just wanted to clarify to the people that had replied to me saying contact the bank, I'd already done that and cancelled my card. I did it straight away fortunately I realised straight away. And fortunately they didn't get any money from me, although the bank have told me they had attempted to book tickets in Barcelon but because id cancelled my card they wasnt successful. Huge lesson learnt. The bank also said if anyone had entered an email address and was prompted to make an account with a password to change passwords because commonly people use the same password for things.

I've just received and fell for this text, 1 day after a reminder that I need to top up again. The link took me to a page that verry easily passed as the ee website. Said I had over 5000 point and could get a prize (headphones, toothbrush or a amazon voucher) and I would only have to pay £0.10p alongside 5000 points, they tried taking £1.00 out of my bank. I've only just realised that's it's a scam when I went to search how many points I had left 😔
