Hi is anyone else getting messages supposed to be from EE  saying they've got thousands of rewards points that's going to be  lost in 2 days if they dont  click on the link to spend them?

I didn't realise it wasn't genuine and requested an electric toothbrush in exchange for my points plus £0.1 what should I do now? The link to the page I got to is in the first image and what it looked like after payment was made- help!

Cancel you're bank card immediately. That's what I did. They tried to book tickets for £160 with my card details but I'd cancelled my card.

You need to contact your bank ASAP and you may need to cancel your bank
card and report it to EE as well

I also got one of these texts but thought the link looked a bit off. So that's how I ended up here 🙂 Will be forwarding to 7726 too. Thank you!

To anyone that has clicked the link the advice given in some posts on here about contacting your bank is sound advice. One thing I want to say is don't blame yourself or feel foolish for clicking what you though was a legitimate link in what looked like a legitimate message the only people to blame are the people that created the scam not you.

Contact your bank and explain the situation to them and they will work with you to sort it and don't feel like you've been daft remember it wasn't your fault banks see this type of thing a lot so won't judge you.

Anyone that receives the message and hasn't clicked the link forward the message on to 7726 I know it doesn't seem like its doing much but the more it's reported the better

On the button m8, top dollar 👍

Good job m8, how can anyone do that, just shows how low and evil these
scumbags are. 👍

Yeah I just had one saying I had 3 days left and to press the link at the bottom. As I've just been paid I thought nah I ain't risking that. Not that I would. Is it a scam, did you find out in the end ?
