I’ve lost my SIM; the letter that the replacement SIM arrived on states that the replacement SIM should work straight away but it does not. How can I activate it?

What happens when you place the SIM into your device?

You only need to activate your SIM if you have upgraded and the old SIM does not fit.

I need help with my Sim as I have lost the old one and I had got a new one as I have a contract. It says I need the old one to activate it but my old phone is also broken

My son has recently moved  on to my business contract. His phone has stopped being able to make, receive calls texts etc 

ee sent me 2 new SIM cards one for his phone but I was told by ee that we don’t need the sims and that his phone will just continue like before but on new deal? 

Yes I’ve received a SIM card for his phone but it displays the wrong phone number on the packet 

I was also told that I don’t need to put a new sim in his phone, is this correct?

Is the SIM size for the new phone the same as the old?

If yes, you should not be required to use a new SIM this should just be sent in case a SIM needs replaced. 

Are you able to try place the new SIM into the device to see if this has been pre-activated?
