SIM blocked after transfer of iphone to new handset failed several times

I can't make any calls, the phone shows no 5g or mobile strength icon.

This is all only after trying to transfer an iphone several times. How do I get the SIM working again?

Are you using a physical SIM card and have transferred this to your new iPhone? 

When setting up the iPhone did you select the install an eSIM option?
