Number transfer

Hi I ordered a new phone and requested my number is transferred. Sent the PAC code on ordering but how long before this transfer happens ? tried using the online form but it isn’t recognising the PAC. Is this because it’s been used ? Please help

Old number transfering

I ordered an ee sim card and done the pac code to transfer my old number how long before it transfers or do I have to wait for the sim card to come first and activate that then it transfers I don't know
