Damaged sim

Accidentally damaged my SIM yesterday, so do I have to have a replacement sent out to me? Or can I buy a new PAYG sim from a shop and transfer everything onto that from my damaged one? I’m PAYG not Pay monthly. Or can I go to an EE store for one?
