I am switching to a different phone due to a lost phone/sim card, I have tried to order a physical sim online but order has not gone through. I am have tried to do the esim via the QR code but this does not work, stuck in activating. I am unable to complete this via the app as I cannot sign into my apple ID because it has to send a code to the number that I do not have access too. I had to ring up from a payphone to EE to ask what my options were, they advised to go into my nearest shop. I went to my nearest shop who then told me that they couldn't do anything because there systems were down so how the hell do i get a new sim card working for my phone. I have old sim card from around 10 months ago, could that work? It really shouldn't be this difficult to get a sim card working for a phone!

You need to call CS to report the loss & they will block it & send you a replacement SIM with the same no. to your UK addy.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

I don't have a working aim/phone to make a call currently and the only way to contact EE is via live chat through the app but I can't get access to the app as I need to sign into my apple id but that requires a code to be sent to my phone number that I don't have access too. I also did this from a payphone earlier and i was told to go into the shop which I did but they couldn't help at the time either.

Can you borrow a phone from a friend or relative, to make the call? Otherwise you can use a web-calling app such as Skype, to call EE over a working WiFi-connection

Hi @SBSide
Thanks for coming to the community.
We're not able to arrange for a replacement SIM card for you here.
If you have lost your SIM, it is best to give our customer service guides from another phone so they can get your current SIM blocked. They can then arrange for a replacement SIM to be posted to you.
Alternatively, if you have an EE store nearby and you are the account holder, you can visit the store with photo ID (either a passport or driving licence) and they can activate a replacement SIM for your number for you.
