Can’t make calls or be called after upgrading

Mines a iPhone 16 what I got today and it’s doing the same thing can’t call or recive calls is there a fix or should I go back to the EE store

Your "me too post" has been moved to a new thread, I didn't spot that when first replying. For context, the post you'd replied to stated... "Hi, i have recently got a new phone and transferred the physical sim card over. it seems like my data and texts are working but i cant make phone calls as it says that any number i call is incorrect and it doesn’t let anyone call my number either"

Does the SIM still work in your old phone?

Do you have another known working SIM you can try in the new phone?

Mine doesn’t, it wouldn’t let me call someone on my original phone before setting up my new one so I transferred my physical sim to my new phone and set everything up and it still doesn’t let me.

If the same SIM has issues in multiple phones, it tends to suggest a SIM or account issue.

Things to rule out first... For outgoing calls, test dialling both known (from your contacts list) and unknown (manually dialled) numbers from different prefixes - mobiles, landlines, and perhaps an 03 or 080 free number. How about 150?

For incoming calls, test with & without caller-ID, and check for "do not disturb" being active.

No I can’t even ring 150 I tried earlier when I noticed the problem, it can’t be a SIM problem as It was working on my original phone before I went to the EE store and got a upgrade, it all started when I got home from the EE store.

There appears to be some contradiction in your description of the problem, which doesn't help with diagnosis.

Were you able to make calls using this SIM in your previous phone, or not? You've explained "it was working on my original phone" and "it wouldn't let me call someone on my original phone"

Yes but that was before I upgraded, once I upgraded Iv not been able  call or be called on both phones, sorry for not being clear.

I can understand your concern if your SIM is no longer working in either of your phones. Are you able to pop back to the store so they can get this sorted for you?
