My number has been suspended due to non payment which I just can't afford right now but I have noticed am not receiving verification codes which I need is there a way to fix this please need help asap

@Jcaines You pay the outstanding bill to fix it. Cut off means exactly that outbound and inbound calls/texts/data. The sim is essentially not being allowed to connect to the network because you have broken the T&Cs of the contract between EE and yourself.
if you are struggling to pay your bill then you need to call customer support and explain to them your issue. All being well an arrangement can be made between yourself and EE to restore your service.
