Does anyone know why my 30 day bundle has expired today, it gets renewed the same day each month but today it has expired. I still had 9 days left

@SunsetSkies : What does texting AL to 150 from it fully report verbatim (it is free)?

Hi, it says that I have £0, last topped up 20/2/23 for 30 days. No mins or data or texts. I'm supposed to get unlimited texts for 30days. Also, I tried to call EE but they keep disconnecting the call - assuming as I have no credit.

I am in a similar situation.

I have 1£ per week data pack. Received text this morning (Happens every Saturday) saying it will renew in three days. Immediately followed by text saying "Your 1£ data pack has now been cancelled......" Followed by another text saying "To use data on your phone, you'll need an add-on or pack."

I did not cancel the pack. What is going on?

Hello @SunsetSkies

I have sent you a private message for more details.

Katie

Hi, It sounds like you have one of the 7day data packs, they expire after 7days even if you still have data remaining. I've had my 30day pack for years and it boosts every 3 months. I've managed to get through to them and they had to put everything back on as apparently their have been price increases on plans that have caused a little chaos. I have a feeling this will happen again as one of the messages I have received said they only boost for one year, if had these boosts continuously for about 9 years. Fingers crossed no more problems - it was so difficult to get through to speak to someone. I might have to change to a plan that won't be such a bargain but hopefully with easier access to customer service, it's a shame EE have been great all these years

Thank you, I'm new here, will try to find the message section

Not so much price increases as a complete rejigging of packs since Aug. '21. You do now get more for your money but the cheapest pack has risen. With these you get a data (only) boost every 2 months but for only a year.

I managed to talk to EE after a long period on hold. I was told that there had been a lot of queries like mine today.

Turns out EE have stopped the £1, 7 day pack which I have had for over 6 years. I was concerned that i would lose 6 years worth of "free boosts". The responder looked at the possible alternatives for me and came up with the £5, 30 day pack. I was concerned about my lost data and free boosts so he investigated and established that all my previous boosts would be applied to the new pack. I opted for the new pack there and then. Sure enough I immediately got all my boosts applied. A benefit of the new pack is includes Data Rollover.

I am very happy with the outcome and the person I spoke to was most helpful and sympathetic. Because I have also opted for EE to automatically take the fee from my card each month the cost drops to £4.50

Result, I have gone from paying £52 to £54 per annum basic. But in fact I will probably pay less overall because I will not have to pay for additional data as often or even at all.
