Alexa calling suddenly not working

I've had the Alexa calling set up for a few years now but it seems to suddenly not be working. I rely on telling me there's an incoming call a lot so it suddenly not telling me has meant I've been missing calls quite a bit. I also attempted an outgoing call but it tells me it is making the call and goes green but then stops.

It still manages to ring my phone if I ask it to.. I'm not really sure what's wrong and haven't been able to find anything out about an outage.

I tried to unlink and relink my account but it is still not working.

Hi James...I spoke with someone from the technical team on Fri for 45 mins. No ticket was raised !!

I was told they couldn't help me as they couldn't access Alexa diagnostics. The guy was googling as we spoke to see if he could offer any suggestions which was lovely of him, sadly he only told me what I'd already done myself...no criticism to him by the way as at least he was trying to help.

What will be any different if I/ we call again to the technical support at EE please?

I also have this problem, it stopped working a couple of weeks ago but then fixed itself, but as of yesterday the inbound and outbound calling is not working.  Where should we go for support on this, as it looks like its between EE and Amazon, and folks like me who rely on this (I'm blind so this is really a crucial service for me) are suffering

EE email support has been unavailable for all the days ive tried. There are long queues on technical support so cant get through!

EE used to have such great support. Cant get any help, Im a disabled person left without this feature that makes a huge difference in my life.

Help us EE !!!

I have exactly the same issue as about a week or so ago i couldn’t make or receive calls. I’ve done the unlinking and re linked the account, Alexa to 150, rebooted the router and both my Alexa echos, still it doesn’t work. Alexa works fine for voice of IP but when I switch to EE I can’t make any calls.  I am doing this for my neighbour who is paralysed and completely reliant on this to communicate. The mobile phone works to send and receive calls and normally calls through Alexa even with the phone switched off. Please EE get this sorted, you only have to look at what changes you have made recently and reverse them.

EE This needs escalating as it seems a lot of disabled and blind people are using this feature as a lifeline!!!

Hi Chris... you haven't PM mysef, however I'm very happy to answer any questions on this as its happened to me also. I finally have received a ref No from Amazon digital support today as they are now looking at it too.

I'm expecting a call back by Wed on an update.

Hi... I've finally got through to someone at digital support in amazon who has raised a ticket for this to be investigated. I've been promised an update by Wed this week.... watch this space.

I explained to them that this was widespread and not an individual case.
