Hi, I hope someone can assist, I have a new iPhone 16 pro max which when I set up had prompted me to change to an esim, since doing this my phone will not make calls over wifi, even though the wifi calling is enabled in the settings menu, when dealing out the call assist screen comes up but with no ring after about 1 min it says call failed, I had this set up on my old phone and it worked with no problems so I know its not my network, I also have the same problem at home or office so pretty certain its something else. Any help would be greatly apppreciated.

Hi @GarethBerry.
Welcome to the EE Community 😊
Since switching to eSIM are your normal calls over the cellular network still working, or are these not going through as well?
Also who is your broadband provider?

@Peter_W I am having the same issue; my iPhone 16 pr max has been working over wi-fi but is now not doing so. Software etc.. unto date and hard reset and network resent completed on iPhone. Any thoughts please? (Phone works normally in signal areas).

Hi @Stephen180.
Welcome to the community.
Are all calls cutting out whilst connected to WiFi?
Are you connecting to your fixed Home Broadband?
Is WiFi Calling switched on in your phone settings?

It's Starlink; calls have been working well for months. End of last week, wifi calling dropped off. All the above tried but I am unable to make any wifi calls. I am unable to make calls rather than anything else but FaceTime and WhatsApp continue to work - including video calls, its only the network calls that are an issue.

Hi @Stephen180
You may find a solution to your experience with WiFi calling using Starlink in the following thread

Hope this helps!
