Order says return to consignor has been requested, what now?

I ordered a pair of earphones from EE and they were meant to be delivered by DPD. It says they attempted to deliver it yesterday but decided to return it to EE instead. It now says return to consignor has been requested. What do I do now? Will I revive a refund or can I still get my earphones? It's frustrating that thus can't be fixed over the phone since it is a store order.

DPD wasn't very helpful. It was only I called this number 0800 0790062, that my refund was processed. They said it was an issue with their new website not updating quickly enough. Apparently, if one doesn't have any kind of data or broadband plan and they bought a stand alone item from the EE website (EE Market Place) like earphones, then that number should be used. It took several months of complaints to get this response.

Hello @Lexy123_ ,

Welcome to the community,

Did you order over the phone or online and they went back to consignor, you should get a refund within the next 5-7 working days of them getting them back, which should be EE, as that is where you ordered them from.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

I ordered online. Does this mean I have to order again?

@Lexy123_ , I would suggest you ring customer service to find out why it went back to them, what was the reason for this or were you not at home to receive it?

Where I live, the deliveries can't be personally delivered to my door, they just go to a post room.  I assume because it was delivered to the post room and not to me, the delivery bounced. This is normally not an issue for me.

@Lexy123_ , I would suggest speaking to customer service and explain the situation and see what they can do about this, there may be a way round this.

Hi Kudos

I am also waiting for my ear phone's from E.E. DPD sent an email the day after the order was placed. Clicked on the link, all it tells me is that my consignment is in their HUB in Burgess Hill. I always thought the parcels were delivered the next day after the order.  I’m confused. By their website. Press and link, none tell you when to expect your delivery.

Hope you get yours quickly

Gary

Hi @Sj102

Thanks for coming back to the community.

Have you had any further texts or emails from DPD since you last posted?

Leanne 🙂
