Iphone 16 pro- 16 pro max pre order thread/that time of the year again

Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

See mine is upgrade and the i had to do a confirmation call on the 14th was on the phone for 2 hours waiting.. got that sorted by 10am and had absolutely nothing since, ill be fuming if i dont get it tomorrow because otherwise i wont be able to trade my phone in as i got till 1st October to do so

to be far, the agents don’t really know how EE logistics works and they only have the scarcest of info available to them.  I had an agent tell me the same last year and it arrived a few days later.

Do we know which iPhone models are in the scarcest supply?  if we did know that we might be able to help set everyone’s expectations.  

For me I am wondering if going for the Natural Titanium PM 1GB was a mistake because it might not be in as much demand as the Black Titanium versions and this means Apple will produce lesser numbers of some variants depending on what their research tells them will hit the sweet spot.

As I type this it is just after 3PM and still no texts from either EE or DPD, but these have appeared later in the day in the past so I still have some hope left for shiny new gadgets appearing tomorrow, but that hope is fast dissipating.

I ordered online via the app and even got the confirmation email. Reordered now but no idea if dispatch date.

it takes two seconds to skim read the email and what all return packs say. you don’t have to return your device until the new one arrives.

No - in the DPD app I just used the same email address / phone number as the one I  used on the EE order, and it appeared straight away. Fingers crossed for you
