Iphone 16 pro- 16 pro max pre order thread/that time of the year again

Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

Still awaiting confirmation hopefully it comes tomorrow as the trade in pack turned up yesterday and i cant exactly trade in the phone im using till this new one arrives 😅.

Just had my DPD confirmation for my 1Tb 16 Pro Max in Black.

Hi everyone Just wanted to add something here that may be of help.

For context. Ordered iPhone 16 Pro 1Tb in Black on Fri (new order, not an upgrade) received my xko order number via email.....then Fri evening had the dreaded text 'There's been a problem with your order, please call us' Two hour wait to get through and a helpful guy processed my order again via screen share/signing new document.

From there I've had no news since. No further emails, no text from DPD, nothing...

I called EE again on Tues (another 90 wait to get through...) and was told the order looked fine and wait for the text from DPD 

Now Thursday still nothing until I thought it might be worth downloading the DPD app in readiness...and lo and behold, my phone is there! At the depot presumably being delivered tomorrow, so just want to advise - those who havent been texted or emailed yet, download the DPD app and have a look. Huge relief to see - hope it helps 😉

Well I gave in and phoned and turns out despite my confirmation email and number, my order wasn’t processed properly. Raging. Now need to wait for it to be available

Yes that’s absolutely right you should always try the other options too it’s not necessarily that you get an dpd notification or your order shows some progress on the tracker it can show progress on the dpd app as well just need to make sure you use the same email address phone number and address as the one you used on the ee order

Well i wont be getting my 16 pro max 1tb (black) for a while.

The same is happening to me as it did last year.

I ordered mine on the 13th same as everyone else. as i previously said in another post. got confirmation email same day.

my tracking has been stuck on awaiting confirmation under expected date.

I just rang up well guess what mine is a open order and is going to be 28 days +.

im fuming.
