Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

seems to be the case. My understanding is this:

Anytime Upgrade DOES still exist within EE, I've had 3 separate people confirm this at EE.
But it's only available on NON-Flex plans and you must request it. Agent I dealt with said he applied it onto my account.

His supervisor also confirmed this, and an agent I spoke to yesterday also confirmed this.

Now, as to whether both agents and a supervisor were ill informed remains to be seen. The truth of it is, we won't actually know until next year when we come back to upgrade to the iPhone 17.

Been able to upgrade over the phone after waiting an hour to speak to someone. 16 Pro Max 256GB in the new Desert colour. Advised launch day delivery and the website is still stating that (now that it's working again), but we all know that's never a guarantee!

They are now waiving the fee.  They wasnt at 1pm but are now.

My £300 early upgrade fee was waived.

I spoke to EE this morning and was told they would waive the £300 upgrade fee due to last year's mess. Was told I would get a callback at 12.50pm so I didn't have to wait in a queue and I was surprised the young lady called me. Ordered the 1TB Pro Max in natural titanium, by 1.10pm order was done but weirdly told delivery within 21 days. I am surprised by this because my order went through no problem so not sure what to think! Was told there's no more upgrade anytime contracts and this will be my last. Not sure why 21 days 🤔
