Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

It really depends if u get a nice advisor it seems. the guy I spoke to was really good and I’m glad I’ve got it done

Ordered on launch day last year, so only around a week left till it’s free…..they are adamant they won’t waive it

Did my upgrade online this year had confirmation email amd order number yet it says they need to confirm some details tried calling an hour wait . Not free to call till Sunday night so I’m asking is it a standard thing I ignore or phone up amd check been with ee for years

on chat or phone?? Chat are useless on that also tell them on the ee community forum some are getting 300 off worth a try Keep at it

well i had a fairly good experience, better than last year anyhow.
first time i phoned got straight through, 1pm. was all most finished doing the preorder(including the waiving of my early upgrade fee of £300) then part way through the interaction the phone cut off. waited 20 mins no call back,
So i rang them again this time in a 1 hour que. got through. not such a nice person as the previous but ok.
this timer they refused to waive the early upgrade fee. i stuck to my guns and even said the previous guy said it could be done.
Any how managed to get it waived and ordered . 1tb 16 pro max black, asked about 2 things,
1) delivery. the guy said there was a slight delay with pr and pro max, i again got him to check and he then came back and said the defo will be the 20th.
2) upgrade anytime. now i managed to speak to 2 different call center's. both times asking to speak to a manager ect they no longer offer the anytime upgrade, you cannot request it. both times saying people who are being told it is are misinformed , both times they replied its no longer in the terms and conditions.

That’s bull the guy I spoke to asked me if I wanted to stay on anytime upgrade plan or move to a flex plan i d stayed on anytime upgrade suits me

I made the switch from 02 to EE for the pre order so apologies this is all new!
I received a thanks for your order/processing your order email after ordering online. The subject line was 'Your EE order: please call us to discuss' - but this seemed like a normal confirmation of order email with nothing that requires calling them about?
Also the order number doesn't seem to work in tracking and I wasn't given a delivery timeframe?
Is this all normal for EE?
