Roaming not working abroad

Hi,Im in Spain and want to use my phone as a hotspot to do some work, but i am not getting service.  I am on the monthly contract and thought I had set up a roaming pass before i left the uk.  What can i do to resolve this.

I have gone on holiday, I have checked all my permissions and text roam to 150, my phone still does not work abroad! Please can you reconnect me. 

Resolved! Add on roam

My son is in Amsterdam and Iv added a roam package on . It says it start immediately. But he says it’s not . How do we get it to work ??
