I arrived in Tunisia yesterday, I'm struggling to connect to any network to use my data. I signed up for ROAMING, i have no spend cap. I need to be able to receive texts for authentication on some of my apps. thanks

Hello @Hiten096

Welcome to the community.

Did you set up roaming by texting ROAMING to 150?

Have you tried manually searching for another network?

Speak soon,

Katie

@Hiten096   Your data allowance will not cover you while there you’ll need an add on but you need to make sure that roaming is enabled on your account in order to connect to a roaming network.

You might want to read THIS about roaming costs in Tunisia.  And add ons don’t enable roaming they just help keep the costs down.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

yes to both.

i just need to be able to receive texts, can i just add that alone?

@Hiten096 : As long as you've enabled roaming on your a/c you can receive texts for free. You don't need data for that.

@Hiten096  Did you text ROAMING to 150 before leaving the UK ?  or did you call customer services to request roaming to be enabled on your EE ?

Have you used this device/contract abroad before?
