Hi,
I ported my number from another network to EE a month ago.
It all went well.
However when I send a text message it shows on the receiving persons phone that it came from another number I don't recognise (maybe the original number on the SIM card before I ported?). However when I call them on the same phone they get my expected number come up.
Any ideas anyone?

Does this affect all outgoing text messages to all numbers?
Do you receive text messages sent to your number ok?

Hi,
Outgoing messages shows the wrong number but I can receive texts from both the wrong and the right number..
Weird. It happens with different people sending and receiving. Thanks

If you go into your Settings, then About Phone and View Phone Number, does the correct number show?

I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team so they can check your account and make sure your number port was completed successfully.
They will have access to your account, and also be able to run through additional troubleshooting if necessary.
