Esim removed EE sim?

I'm travelling right now and installed an esim for cheap data. I'm about to travel home and have realised that my original sim is not showing on my phone. Only my travel sim and an EE sim for a number I don't recognise appear on my phone. Will this sort itself when I get back to the UK? Is it something that can be rectified with a quick call from another phone to EE?

Sounds strange… could it be the strange number you’re seeing on the EE sim was a temp number assigned way back when before you ported your regular number onto it.

Have you tried making an OB call from your EE sim to see which number shows up. Or tried calling your own EE number from another phone and checking its your handset that rings?
