Request for Reactivation of Old EE Number

neelbanerjee
Visitor

I hope this message finds you well.
I was previously using an EE SIM with the number, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to leave the UK in late November 2024 and have been abroad since then. Unfortunately, I have not been able to keep up with any bills or account activity during this period.

I will be returning to the UK on 27th August 2025, and I would like to know if there is any possibility of regaining access to my old number. It was my primary UK contact, and recovering it would greatly help me transition back smoothly.

Please let me know if my number is still recoverable and what steps I need to take.

My account is registered under the email ID:

  • Name:

  • Old EE Mobile Number:

  • Registered Email ID:

  • Last Active Use: Late November 2024

  • Reason for Inactivity: I had to leave the UK unexpectedly and could not continue using the SIM.

  • Billing Status: I am not aware if there are any unpaid bills remaining during this inactive period. Please advise if there are any dues I need to clear.

  • Return Date to UK: 27th August 2025

  • Request: Kindly confirm if it is possible to regain access to this old number and what steps I need to follow.

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to your guidance.
Best regards,
Neel

As you did not continue to pay for it, you've lost it for good & will probably find your credit history marred & debt collectors chasing you.

As to your billing status, this user discussion forum can have no access to your specific account. You need to raise this with CS.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Hi @neelbanerjee.

Thanks for coming to the community.

As @XRaySpeX has mentioned, the best course of action would be to get in touch with our Customer Service Guides, who can look up your account details and let you know if the number is still recoverable. They’ll guide you through any further steps.
