Did you mean:

Phone is unable to make outgoing calls. Cannot upgrade until October. Help?

I cannot make any outgoing calls even to EE. There's an issue my phone has "connecting to wireless network". However it's always fine when I use data.

The problem is with the phone but EE won't let me upgrade my phone until October after a full year contract is complete. How can I get help fixing my phone at least or am I just doomed to not be able to use my phone for calls until EE allows me to upgrade in a few months?

It's been irritating to not be able to make calls since January and no one at EE seems to have anything to help me. They just tell me it sucks for me and wait until October.

@Chrisyaseen   You can upgrade you’ll need to pay off that current contract.   Or you can have the device looked at to be fix.  Or you can purchase a device outright from elsewhere and use that with your current contract.

Hi @Chrisyaseen

As @Chris_B says. No reason for you to be in this situation.

thanks @Chris_B. Yeah, I've walked through it again with someone on the phone. Seems it's either buy a full price phone on my own or wait the three or so months for them to consider my credit good enough as I only moved to the country last September.

Thanks for outlining the solutions clearly.

@Chrisyaseen   What phone is it and have you tried a factory reset on the device?   You’ll need to back it up so you can restore your information back on the device.

Morning @Chrisyaseen

Thanks for coming here.

Which device are you using?

Also, where did you purchase the phone and how long have you had this?

Leanne 🙂
