I'm in South Africa and trying to connect to a local network, but get an automated message saying "Your SIM card does not allow connection to this network".
I have Roaming turned on and Select automatically, but no joy.
I can't text or call 150 as I have no network.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Can you log into your EE account and check roaming, international calls and text.
Thanks

@clifford3 if you are unable to do what @Northerner has suggested, you can ring customer service using service like Skype for free:

If you login to your myEE online account and can verify that both "interntional roaming" & "call abroad and premium rate" options are enabled, your SIM should be correctly configured on EE's UK network.
The standard advice in that scenario would then be to try alternative local networks.
