I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and although I have the full works package shown in my account, I don’t seem to be able to enable/see the option to enable standalone 5G. From https://ee.co.uk/why-ee/5g-on-ee the criteria is:

The problem is, I can’t see further information as to the compatible phones.IMG_0820.jpeg

What iPhone model do you have?

iPhone 14 pro max. I don't think OP upgraded his phone, but he had to update his iOS to 18.1 beta to make it work.

I just updated my iPhone 15 Pro to iOS 18.1 RC, got network provider profile 60.0.1 and I still have a greyed out 5G Standalone toggle. What do I have to do to get this sorted with EE?!

Hi @stoli412

When was the last time you changed your plan? Either via upgrade or calling in to change to something different.

Lesley

Apologies for hijacking this thread but I too am having issues.  I have just upgraded to the iPhone All Rounder Plan and also just this morning swapped to a new physical SIM ordered late last week.  My iPhone 16 Pro is still saying my SIM Card does not support 5G standalone.  I am on IOS 18.0.1 and Network EE 59.0.1.  It seems like I may need Network EE 60.x?  How do I go about getting this?  I am starting to regret buying such an expensive plan and wish I had just stuck with the cheaper ones.

Hi @TheMond

Is your online account showing Standalone 5G active in the add-ons section?

Lesley

Hi @Lesley_W

Yes I only bought my plan a week or two ago and it is showing as active in the add-ons section.

Thanks

Richard

Thanks for confirming that @TheMond.

Have you got any further software updates to do? Sometimes carrier updates also pop up in there.

Hi @Lesley_W

No, nothing is appearing in the Software Update section.

Thanks

Richard

@Lesley_W I changed to a Full Works plan a couple weeks ago, I've swapped my eSIM, I've applied all updates, and I still cannot get the 5G Standalone toggle to work.
