I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and although I have the full works package shown in my account, I don’t seem to be able to enable/see the option to enable standalone 5G. From https://ee.co.uk/why-ee/5g-on-ee the criteria is:

The problem is, I can’t see further information as to the compatible phones.IMG_0820.jpeg

Hi all,

Been all over this forum trying to get my Pixel 8 Pro to connect to the EE 5G network in the UK.

Big thanks to Oliver at EE Tech team who was superb.

Its now working!!!

If you do not have the select network type from the sim settings:

dial *#*#4636#*#* from the phone keypad

select phone info

scroll down to set prefered network type (theres a little drop down arrow to the right)

select NR/LTE

go back to main screen and reboot phone

Mine started back up straight onto 5G network.

Hope this helps someone else out and the EE Tech Team are going to add this fix to their database for any future customers having the same issue.
