I'm an EE user and the service where I am (North west Wales) is excellent. A friend of mine was a Vodafone user and her contract was ending, so I recommended changing to EE, which she duly did. Since doing this however, her service has been shocking.
Her Vodafone number was ported across and has been active for two weeks now, but she simply can't make or receive calls for a lot of the time. Calls to her go to voicemail automatically or don't connect at all despite being in an area with supposed good reception. She also can't make calls out with only about 25% of attempts succeeding. She uses an unlocked iPhone 13.
This doesn't seem to be a network issue because mine continues to work perfectly. I'm inclined to think it was a problem with number porting. She's called 150 - the first two times promised a text response which was never received - and the third time she was advised to update network settings which she did. still no improvement. She is also shown as unavailable for facetime despite her number being correct in settings.
How can this be escalated and the problem properly diagnosed? - the service is completely unacceptable at the moment and I feel like a fraud recommending EE to her!

Hi @Welshchris
Welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to hear that your friend is having some problems with their service since joining. It sounds like the technical support team are following the correct diagnostic process to try and figure out what's causing the problem. I recommend that your friend gets back in touch with them so they an try and get to the bottom of it.
Please keep us posted on what happens.
Thanks
Chris
