I got a sim only contract last Saturday and they started the porting process from vodafone in the store. I tried the sim for an evening and it worked fine.
The following Thursday my old sim was shutoff so I put the new sim back in and it didn't work. Today (Friday) I get a text saying port complete and a MMS with a file to download but I don't have access to the network so can't download it and it won't download over wifi.
My phone recognises the sim as an EE sim and says it's in service but mobile network is disconnected.
Do I just need to wait even longer or has something gone wrong?

I went back to the store and they immidiatly knew it needed an account reset, apparently its a common proplem, which they did and it worked instantly.

@farmer24 Try restarting the device, this will reset the connection to the network.

I've tried that multiple times as well as removing and reinstalling the sim

Are you still unable to use your EE SIM?
Have you tried manually connecting to the EE network in your phone settings?
