I get texts from EE every week saying there are problems in my area but no reason given.

Hi @timthomasuk

Are you having problems with the service in your area? Does anything show up when you put your postcode in our coverage checker to check the status?

They are rubbish because of the BT merger. Cost cutting and the staff don’t have a clue on chat etc

Hi @OwenB.

Is there anything we can help you with on here?

The constant text is automated I presume - I had similar and managed to speak to an engineer who was on site fixing the new 5g at the time and he explained it’s automated to alert everyone within area with issue so they know it’s being dealt with or processed . I found I had multiple texts for around two weeks and then my signal went up and service was better and no more texts give a few more days hopefully you will notice a change if not call good old 150

I phoned EE to find out why I was getting so many texts from them about poor service in the area. Eventually talked to someone from technical and they had a look. Turns out they were changing hardware somewhere nearby.

Got 2 weeks refund for my trouble. No improvement in signal yet though.
