Ever since 5g came out it’s like they slowed down the signal to 4g so people get 5g.my 4g was working well before they started digging up 5g in my street. Now my 4g is bad.

Have you checked the network status checker to see if we're aware of any problems in your area. It's likely to be unrelated to the rollout of 5G.

5g is still being installed globally- I think it will take a while to settle In and the 4g web to transfer over to 5g so for a while I expect everyone will suffer regardless of network provider I have heard multiple others on other networks say similar.

It's extremely common for 4G capacity to be improved at the same time as 5G spectrum is deployed on network sites.

I am having the same problem since May approximately, but the last 2 months have been a total nightmare.
The network status shows that my connection is great but it’s not (It has got 1 bar and when I’m lucky 2). I have been calling to technical support constantly for more than a month and they said there is nothing they can do because of some problem with their tower.
I use my internet to work and paying almost £100 per month to EE and not being able to work due to the slow internet is annoying and disrespectful to a loyal customer. I have been a costumer for more than 10 years.
My partner was going to join EE but with this problem he decided to join to Lebara and his internet is so fast!
One of the most insulting things I was told from technical support is that the walls in my home are too thick. Well, Levara’s connection must be hell of strong to give such an amazing strong network coverage that penetrates such a thick wall!
Seriously… unbelievable.

Yes, it is terrible. My partner was thinking on joining EE but due to an ongoing problem of terrible connection (EE’s fault since May) he ended up getting unlimited internet from Lebara. I wish I could change network provider but I’m still in a contract.

Hi @Rebesweety
When you hit the 'check status' button on the coverage checker, does it say if we're aware of any maintenance works?
Chris
