Good luck with that. Spent £60.00 on landline charges and it still did not work.

The idiot st EE said just go from cafe to cafe to get a signal. Basically EE does NOT WORK IN TURKEY.

I was in Turkey May 25.

Automatically connect. What a load of rubbish. I spoke to 6 other EE customers at Atalanya airport. NO CONNECTION FOR OUT DURATION THERE.

Best solution cancel contract and go to VODAPHONE my mates phone worked fine.

The post you'd added to was from 2023, so your rant has been moved to a new thread.

If EE phones did not work at all in Turkey, this forum would be absolutely chock-full of complaints - that doesn't seem to be the case. Without a full understanding of the reasons why those 6 other EE users couldn't roam, it's impossible to draw any conclusions from that.

Any suggestion to use a cafe's WiFi-connection to make contact with EE-CS seems pretty valid to me, it's frequently advised on this forum too.

@gcfs191981 , did you do a manual search for a network by any chance or just automatic network?

Also, try switching 5G off and see if that works, as you should be able to get a network connection, but not giving anyone any idea what you have tried and whether you are on pay as you go or contract, then how are we supposed to help.

As @bristolian , has written, if the case were that customers could not get a connection in foreign countries, when many do go, then unless there are many complaints your complaint does not add up to everyone having problems is ridiculous, as customers who do have a problem, may not have tried manual connection and may also not have roaming set up on their accounts.
