Hi,
Is anyone else seeing poor signal / coverage with EE in Harrogate? I'm at work HG28QT inside but sat by the window and currently have between zero and 1 bar although the 5G logo is being displayed. running speedtest app I get 8.62 down, 0.91 mbps up. The EE coverage map says I should have much better than that.
is a mast down or something?
using a Samsung S21

All of hornbeam lake seems to have gone terrible after the recent mast updates. ( this is what a chap on the phone said had recently happened in the area)
I used to be able to get 3 or 4 bars of 4G signal inside and out at work, now I get 1 if I’m lucky, and most of the time there’s no signal at all - if anything it’s a mast downgrade opposed to upgrade!
I’ve submitted a report too, as have a few others - hopefully something will get fixed sooner rather than later

Steady
I too having similar issues with signal.
Absolutely no mobile signal, via a Pixel 6a.
Was working fine up up until a couple of months ago.
Very frustrating.
Phone works fine away from home so definitely the EE signal.
EE say no issues but reality is different. EE....?

Hi @Simes20,
We know how important it is for you to be able to stay connected. Have you spoken with our team about the issues you're having at home?

Rach, no I thought it was a temporary issue. However sounds like a glitch following an upgrade that ain't working the way it should. we have 4 EE Sims... 1 in my pixel 6a and 3 more each in i-phone 13s.
All suffering the inability to use web on the network when at home. Obviously not the end of the world but we are expecting the service to work, which currently appears not to be the case. Also it also appears that network calls at home and in Harrogate are compromised also as connections appear difficult to make.

Simon

Hi Rachel,
unspoken to your team earlier too ( for the 3rd time after promised updates that’s never appeared). They tried to tell me there was no issue with the mast they updated, and it was actually how the houses and other buildings are built - which i told them is complete waffle, given it worked fine until this upgrade.
I believe they have now raised a call against the mast? But I guess the more people that text “FAULT ADVISOR” to 150, the more it will highlight it?

Rach.
I am now the proud owner of a badge awarded to me by EE.
I now wear this with the utmost pride. However, I have just checked and my service has not improved.
I am looking forward to being awarded an "improved signal" badge, and hopefully very soon 😉
Regards

18/11/2024 11.32am sat by the window HG28QT and 1 bar (sim 2 piggybacks ee), if I move away from the window at all the signal is gone. Come on @EE Obv's a mast issue. Are EE just going to ignore this or take action?

Hi @SteadyT
I can see you have signal showing on your device, so there is service where you are. Do you use WiFi calling when indoors to help keep things running smoothly?
If you're facing any issues with your services though, please use our Coverage Checker as this will scan for any known issues within your postcode area.
If nothing is found, then please report this to us using the "report a problem" section.
Also following on from @Rach_H's advice above, I would suggest contacting us directly so the team can run further checks.

just had another EE text - stating there is no issue in the area, but this thread and what we are all experiencing clearly shows there is an issue since the mast updates!
Frustrating doesn't even cover it!
