No mobile signal into the 4th day now -

This is the 4th day ee network has been down in my area - Lincs - I bet if i lived in London or another major city this would have been sorted within hours.  I was told day before yesterday it would be fixed within 24hrs - seriously what on earth is going on? i have never known anything like it.  Can't even contact 150 so have to use landline.  Without mobile phone coverage it causes all sorts of problems with website account authorization and also banking. As i am on Sky talk sheild i can't get authorization codes on my landline either. I'm at my wits end.

Hi @JaneT341

I'm sorry to hear this.

Where were you told it would be fixed within 24 hours?

Have you checked our Network Status Checker for an update on your postcode?

There is no differential made between urban & rural sites for fault-repair timescales, there's also an argument for rural repairs being more important due to lack of alternative coverage compared with urban sites where there may be alternatives.

Repair times given by the status checker are always a well-intentioned estimate.

If your phone supports WiFi-calling, you may continue to make & receive calls & texts without any need for mobile coverage. It's an excellent mitigation for indoor coverage issues whenever they occur.
