** Ee edge network **

Hi having constant issue with iPad on EE. Considering cancelling contract because of it as it seems like breach of service from EE.

when I connect usbc to hdmi adaptor from my iPad to tv, my network changes from 4g to Edge and I get no data connection. Originally I could connect to my tv and access data 4g no problem. Then after a month it changed to very very slow speeds when connected displaying edge or lte. Now it’s no data at all. A sly move by EE. And is just one of the many problems with my boy in bubble network connections. Looking for fix or will contact to cancel contract early. Think it’s on purpose to make me accumulate debt and add fake charges and deduct automatically. But thought I’d put problem to community first. Then contact EE as it seems like breaching their connection commitments. They also seem to have given some control of their network management to local Smurf services. Is there a fix for this

Hi @Hykeweir,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Connecting your iPad to an external display shouldn't affect your mobile data connection in any way.

Does your iPad connect to 4G again as soon as the cable is disconnected?

@Hykeweir   Have you tried a network reset on the iPad ?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Do you have an EE mobile, and is that similarly affected?

EE have no reason to make you accumulate debt. Nor would the equipment your devices are connected to, make any difference to the radio connection between them and EE's mobile network.

No it doesn’t. Have to turn off mobile data and reconnect once usb device is disconnected. My EE contract doesn’t seem generic, very purposeful troll issues.

Yes and have reset iPad etc
