Not receiving OTP texts

I have exactly the same issue. I moved my number on 27/6 but I'm still having trouble receiving text messages like bank, directly from EE or government services. Normal text work but not  these ones. I've called the customer service couple of times. No luck yet. Resetting network settings, removing sim car and others hasn't worked out yet. If anyone fixed their issue how did you manage?

You've done the right thing in reporting this to CS, but what exactly do you mean by "no luck yet". What have they offered by means of solution, and how were things left?

they told me to remove any Physical sim cards, resetting the network settings, restarting the phone couple of times... I just called again they told me they will get back to me today again. I feel the porting has not been done completely and they need to somehow redo this with our without the helo of lyca my previous network.

Those are reasonable checks for some scenarios.

Have you tried sending a text to yourself? Can you receive texts from other mobiles? In other words - are only automated texts affected, or all?

Your original post reads as if you were having problems receiving automated texts prior to your port-in - is that correct?

Yes I can receive normal texts like from friends and some other stuff. But nothing from EE itself, nothing from banks or HMRC for example. I can send and receive normal texts. 

No I wasn't having any problems regardings text prior the number transfer

In which case you should be pursuing this with EE-CS, who have processes in-place to escalate this.

If they're leaving you on any call without either a solution or clear next steps, then that process is not being followed. They should ask you for timed examples of when an automated SMS has failed to arrive, try getting 3-4 examples over a 2-3 day period.

They never asked me this. Once they called me back I'll let them know. One of them actually sent me a test Text message through his system but I didn't receive it.
