WhatsApp stuck on connecting

Hi
For the last 2 weeks my WhatsApp is stuck on connecting when using mobile data. It is fine on WiFi! I have the iPhone XR & my updates are upto date!I have done the following to try and fix it.
offloded and re installed the app
turned phone, mobile data, airplane mode on and off.
checked on general settings
Nothing has worked! However I may get a random message through from time to time which is odd!
Any help would be appreciated please

What are your content lock settings?
Try logging into your MyEE app then - Click on the person icon in corner - Settings and Permissions - Parental Controls.
Have you sufficient data?

It defaults to that so that children don't access age-restricted content.
Now you've changed it, you shouldn't need to touch it again.

I have the same problem. I have recently joined EE from Vodaphone and I cannot connect to Whatsapp.
Parental Controls are set to Adult.

What happens when you open the WhatsApp app?
Are you connected to WiFi or using mobile data?
