I have my EE "unlimited" (but dont get me on that BS) sim in a modem, unfortunately theres no way for the modem to automatically transfer text messages it recieves, so they effectively sit in the ether.
As my network speeds vary between 6mb & 60mb, I have no idea if I'm being throttled due to going over the 600mb limit which I generally towards end on month contract would do.
It seems this data for some CRAZY reason isnt available to me any other way than through the texts they send the "dumb" modem.
I'm sure I cant be the only one with this issue and would appreciate any advice.
For reference my modem is an outdoorrouter (yes thats the brand name) and its attached to Unifi Switch.

You can still read these texts. Most mobile routers can receive texts & reply to them. Login to it & look for the SMS Section/Inbox.

@davidjac ,You take the SIM card out and put it in another device to read the text, if you find that you cannot read it in the one it is in.

Without wishing to be negative, im looking for a real world answer. There must/should be a way to see the data using the myee app or whatever. You can see that data for ordinary plans but not for the unlimited plan (which in itself should be subject to governance scrutiny).
BTW the router is 30ft on a pole above chimney.

Hi @davidjac
If you are using more than 600GB then you need to be on a business tariff.
Which router do you have.
Thanks

Seems the actual answer is "no theres no way of seeing the data actually used on an "unlimited plan", would have thought someone may have known that.

@davidjac , not necessarily, as most of us do not need to check whether we have reached or nearly reached our limit.
