New EE 4G Wifi not charging

just bought a 4G Wifi router. I have installed the battery and sim as instructed. It has been on charge now for over an hour and it has no flashing lights indicating the charge status and it will not switch on. Tried different chargers, sockets etc....

4g router no online games
