Have a new sim, just need to contact , again, to know if blocked or other. I cant use this in my WIFI router, can't remember if this has been connected before, as have other new devices.

Yes trying to contact with digital assistant was confusing. Asking to chat with a human resulted in the convo' sat in the sidebar with no convo just waiting to load or connect again. Difficult. I have no EE phone or number either .

No I am not going to use the phone if I can help it.

Sim is registered and received, with order number account number etc. I did pay top up, to the number, and have not put the direct debit setup to it yet . My other account for 3g sim has cards attached.

So scratching my head a bit !

@KCUP : There is no reason for a new PAYG SIM to be blocked.

What does texting AL to 150 from your no. fully report verbatim (it is free)? You may have to put it in a phone to do this.

As you are topping it up it can't be on contract.

 Thank's , I did not think first .

Should have sorted the d'd first,  it wasn't connected and I did not know how it would all work.

Do what now, know it's a 3 month contract ? . Has that been paid, I  don't know yet.

Couldn't find a way of checking any account, didn't recognise it at broadband page .

It's not fixed Home Broadband. It has a SIM. The SIM has a mobile no. You add that mobile no. to your mobile products in MyEE.

Look at http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see its mobile no. displayed at top.

Then what does http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi say about your data & credit status.
