I'm an existing EE mobile customer that's been trying to take out an EE full fibre 1.6Gbps broadband package.
I had upgraded my mobile to a flex pay contract on the 29th September. On the 2nd October, I was declined for the broadband following a credit assessment. I contacted EE's credit referrals team, who reviewed the decision and manually overturned it provided I pay a deposit of £50.
I've was advised to contact customer services to submit a new application with the understanding that the new application would link to the original, overturned, application. This did not happen.
I've subsequently tried twice more with further declines despite the credit referrals team repeatedly confirming in writing that the original application remains approved on their side.
After the last decline yesterday, I emailed a follow up with them stating that everything on their end is correct and that I needed to contact the sales team for them to review and if needed raise a single user fault for further investigation.
I spoke to an guide today and reiterated this information. After them speaking to their supervisor I was advised to get 900Mbps with B.T and once processed, could then migrate to an EE account.
My concern is that it would require a further credit check to get a B.T account after already having the EE one overturned. Would then moving to EE cause another credit check to be required, especially as I would want the original 1.6Gbps premium package.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Besides credit check considerations, you'll find that going from FF 900 Meg to FF 1.6 Gig won't be possible as they are separate ordering & deployment systems.

That was my concern. I don't want to have to switch to B.T to be then told that I wouldn't be able to migrate over to EE anyway. Especially when the original EE order, that's been overturned and approved by credit referrals, was specifically for the 1.6Gbps package.
