He should look at his online MyEE a/c.

Hi @alili

Welcome to the community.

As @XRaySpeX said, your partner can check their remaining data allowance through his My EE account

Chris

He can't as it won't let him register the mobile number on his ee account as it needs to send a code

Hi @alili,

Welcome to the EE Community

What you need to do when registering your number is load up 192.168.1.1 on a device connected to the 4G router. This will take you to the admin page of the router.

It depends on which model you have, but the admin password to login should be either on the back/bottom of the router and also on the keep me card that came with the router.

Once you are logged in you can see the text messages that the number has received, so you can then send and confirm the PIN to get the online account linked up to allow the data allowances to be tracked.

Most mobile routers can receive texts & reply to them. Login to it & look for the SMS Section/Inbox.

Another way to see how much data is left is by visiting http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see your data & credit status as well as its mobile no. at the top.
