I just acquired the EE 5G router to enjoy the fast internet however, it is performing slower than my old copper broadband.
Setting the router to 4G results are poor (but not as bad as 5G):

Hi Jon, thanks for the advice.
I just did that, see below the results: Looks like 5G is not available although when I look at the map it shows borderline, I will try to set it for 4G and see if it works better

On the Routers Admin Web UI page there is a Mobile Network Status, stuff your looking for should all be on the same Page, look for -
4G RSRP and 4G SNIR, again 5G RSRP and 5G SNIR (maybe called NR or NSA). CELL ID OR ENBID Numbers, 4 and 5G Band Number, something like B3 n78, and any CA Band Number Combinations.
Post up your Results.

Hi @EssexBoyEE
I moved my router around my place and found a spot in my bedroom where the 5G internet speed is quite satisfactory (between 20-25 mbps up to 60mbps) 🙂
Thank you for your suggestion, please see the results below, could you explain to me what they mean?

The Page you have posted up looks like a General Info Page, looking at that page you do not seem to be Connected to 5G Signal Layer, only 4G+.
There should be another Staus Page somewhere in Settings (something like Cellular or Mobile Network) that gives a more detailed info on your Modem Connection.

This is the only page in "status" where I can see the internet status, see the panel on the left
