5G router only connects to 4G

Anyone able to tell me why my new 5g router will only connect to 4g network? i checked the coverage and it states we should get it but nothing at all

Lost 0.4 GB today.

My allowance of 10gb is credited on the 18th each month to my apple iPad. Today at 7am only  9.6 gb was credited. Anyone know why?
