EE Network Coverage and Status Checker

Jon_K
Former EE Employee

We've combined our network status tools to provide you with all the network information you need in one handy place.

You'll now be able to check the coverage in your area as well as getting up to date information about any maintenance we're carrying out to continue improving our network

You don’t need to register for updates if you’re just curious, just simply search a postcode for a quick status check on the area.

Register for My Places to receive updates on network issues or planned work in your area

  • Select the 'I have a problem' option

  • You will be presented with an up to date status of your area

  • Tap ‘Add To My Places’ and enter your mobile number.

  • We will send a verification code to your number, just so we know it’s you.

  • You will now be updated with any planned work or problems.

  • After your first location is added, you can add additional places by going to ‘Manage My Places’

How do I report a network problem?

If you're experiencing issues but the EE Coverage and Network Status Checker isn't showing a problem in your area, you can report this using the ‘Report A Problem’ button.

  • Enter your postcode and tap the ‘I have a problem’ button.

  • You'll be presented with the latest status of the network in your area

  • Tap the 'Report a problem' button

  • You will be asked for further information around your issue so that we can do some further investigation
  • Once we've taken a look, we'll get back to you with an update within 48 hours

you do realise your form is partially broken? The section where you can put additional information does not seem to accept any sentences, making it effectively useless.

Hi @Travelstar,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

I'm sorry to hear you are having a problem reporting an issue.

I haven't been able to replicate this issue.

Which web browser are you using?

Thanks

James

iOS (Safari). I tried on mobile and it kept telling me I could not use punctuation.

It appears to be working again now however.

For months now I have been reporting problems with calls and internet dropping out and slow speeds both inside and outside in my area on status checker to receive a message back to say no fault can be found I've even called the help line and reported it and again been told no problems in my area or it might be intermittent even though it would be a daily occurrence or it could be your phone, I know it wasn't my phone as other people I know on ee in my area had the same problem and as soon as you got to a different area it would be fine.

I reported it again a week ago Friday 24 hours later same reply no problems in my area, an hour later I receive an email saying there is a fault in my area that's taking longer to fix than first thought and a week later still not fixed.

Normally you get a message saying about a fault in the area then if not fixed in 48 hours the second message saying it's taking longer than expected, it's either status checker isn't working correctly or we techie guys are not doing there jobs correctly!

Hi @blankcanvas67,

Welcome back to the EE Community. 🙂

I'm sorry to hear the fault in your area hasn't been resolved yet. You'll get an update via text as soon as the engineers provide an update.

Have you checked to see if you can use WiFi Calling at home in the meantime?

Thanks

James

It's not the point it hasn't been resolved yet it the point they ignored
reports there was a fault in my area for 7 months plus even after the last
time I reported it an they said it was fine to get told an hour later that
a fault that hasn't existdd is taking longer than expected to fix.
WiFi calls are a waste of time trying because the net on mobile drops out
more than calls!

What's the point of paying for a service when it's not working correctly
and engineers refuse to acnollege there is a problem in the first place!

Hi @blankcanvas67,

The current fault could be unrelated to the issues you have experienced in the past. Our Tech Gurus will be happy to give you more information on the mobile network in your area if you get in touch.

WiFi Calling uses a WiFi connection (Such as your home broadband), rather than mobile data.

Thanks

Hi,

my phone signal is currently very poor in my household, this has been an ongoing issue since last year and have spoken to you previously regarding this. I have checked the network status checker and there is a problem in my postcode. How do I speak to someone about this as I am paying £50 a month for a phone I can’t use in my own home and it’s starting to become very frustrating and my family members can’t hear me on phone calls and during the current situation that’s the only way I can communicate with my family.
