Hi all,
I live in an area that's classed as having good 5G coverage. There's actually a 5G mast in the outskirts of my estate.
I have a 5G phone and Sim card, however over the past couple of year I can remember only once or twice having a 5G signal on my phone, but that was very brief.
Any ideas please...very frustrating
Thanks

Hi @Jenkaz77
Have you checked EE network status checker:
https://ee.co.uk/help/service-status
It maybe you are outside of the 5G network range.
- Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.
- What device are you using.
Thanks
To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone. You can call Freephone +44 800 079 8586 on Skype
EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

£10 subscription pack per month.
Device is the Samsung S21 5G, yes a few years old now but struggled for 5G since I got it.
Thanks

The term "5G mast" is a bit of a popular misconception. EE's sites (in common with all networks) carry a combination of technologies but 5G is never carried on its own. 4G is always provided, with 2G present in the overwhelming majority of cases and 5G increasingly frequent.
The same with "5G SIM" - all EE's SIM support all "G", but PAYG only allows access to 2G>4G. A pay-monthly plan is required to access 5G.
