The Archer MR600 router only supports IPv4 connection profile by default for EE.
I have create a new profile with PDP type as IPv4&IPv6, connected successfully, apparently EE assigns 2 public IPs, as per below IP test from a website:
Your IPv4 address on the public Internet appears to be 31.94.xx.44
Your IPv6 address on the public Internet appears to be 2a00:23ee:11b0:454b:1af5:xx:1407:f5ba
However if I try to access any site by IPv4, it fails:
$ ping 1.1.1.1
PING 1.1.1.1 (1.1.1.1) 56(84) bytes of data.
From 192.168.1.1 icmp_seq=1 Destination Net Unreachable
From 192.168.1.1 icmp_seq=2 Destination Net Unreachable
From 192.168.1.1 icmp_seq=3 Destination Net Unreachable
$ ping -4 www.google.com
PING www.google.com (216.58.212.228) 56(84) bytes of data.
From _gateway (192.168.1.1) icmp_seq=62 Destination Net Unreachable
No issues via IPv6:
$ ping -6 www.google.com
PING www.google.com (2a00:1450:4009:80b::2004) 56 data bytes
64 bytes from lhr35s04-in-x04.1e100.net (2a00:1450:4009:80b::2004): icmp_seq=1 ttl=56 time=46.7 ms
The router's IPv4 routing table is empty while on the IPv4-v6 profile:No static routes.
The same section is populated if I select the IPv4 only connection profile, and I can ping IPv4 sites by name and IP.
ID Network Destination Subnet Mask Gateway Interface
-- -------------------- ----------------- --------------- -------------
1 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.99.88.149 LTE
2 10.99.88.144 255.255.255.248 0.0.0.0 LTE
3 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 0.0.0.0 LAN & WLAN
Here is the new profile, which routes only IPv6 from the local network:
EE settings for IPv4 and v6
No IPv4 is assigned, but IPv6 is assigned, with the new profile.
The router says that connection failed, although I have internet.
Error on applying profile.

Is there a bug in the firmware, or is there a setting that needs to be changed in the router?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

I have contacted TP-Link support, I have downloaded the beta firmware below and created a connection profile with 464XLAT enabled.

I can now use both IPv4 and IPv6. IPv4 is routed to the internet.

In the L-hand rejected (cuz it shows MAC) image IPv4 needs an IPv4 DNS set.
