I need assistance with my EE Digital Home Phone (Digital Voice).
Voicemail: I need the network voicemail (1571) completely removed or deactivated from my line profile. Setting it to 10 rings does not solve the issue, and phone support (0330 123 1105) incorrectly told me it's impossible.
Call Protect: While trying to deal with this earlier, an advisor accidentally removed EE Call Protect from my line entirely. Could a moderator please restore/re-add EE Call Protect to my digital broadband profile while also stripping the voicemail feature code from my line?

@Atu1 I have mine set to 10 rings as per @XRaySpeX reply but it might help to understand what your issue is and why you need it completely off. Reason I ask is 1571 is cutting in on my line when in theory it shouldn't, but that is as a result of separate fault/issue I've had since I recently migrated to EE and digital voice.
I have a legacy TrueCall call blocking unit (just think of it as an answering machine if you don't know what one is) - and that is sat on the end of one of those EE Home Phone adapter things. Every 2-3 days, I pick up the phone attached to it to find I have no dial tone, and the phone adapter is showing "out of reach" for that device when I go into hub manager. I power the adapter off/on - get dial tone tone back, and find that whilst my Truecall/phone is effectively disconnected without my knowledge, I've missed calls which I've been pleased 1571 has picked up for me. I suspect that Home Phone adapter is just too far away from my hub (upstairs, other end of the house from the hub downstairs) to work reliably so I need to have a play about with the location.

@YorkshireMidge DV also adds the VM caller feature when you are on an existing call, two call operation at the same time and many other Home Phone features, EE has flatly refused now and NO ONE is getting the VM feature turned off/removed at any point in the future.
This is now EE's policy going forward and has been for the last 12 months at least if not longer.

@Atu1 If you also need the input from @YorkshireMidge

@JimM11 My initial instinct was to try and turn it off in my case too because I simply don't need it and neither the TrueCall nor my trusty old Panasonic cordless phone system on the other side of it have a visual 1571 message indicator. As the cordless is six handsets, I'm not in any hurry to replace it just for that.
The 10 rings keeps VM out the way unless I'm on a call, where I will hear call waiting anyway and know to check 1571 after the call. So I can live with it especially as it gives me a backup whilst I sort out that damned adapter!
That's why I was wondering what @Atu1 issue actually is, as there might be some other issue in the mix like I have with the adapter, or maybe a workaround possible.

@YorkshireMidge Perfect you have the full understanding off the DV system operation, does get confusing for some, you are way correct about the DVA, just got to find the sweet spot that it likes for the Dect side to keep it connected to the EE Hub.

Yeah - I have a feeling the DVA instability is linked to the construction of the house such that the signal passes through the equivalent of an external wall and then has to get to the other side of the house too. However, I've had our cordless phones operating quite happily from the same two end points as hub and DVA (i.e. the identical signal path, wall and all! ) and given they use the same DECT frequency, I wasn't expecting the DVA to have problems.
So I'm playing hunt the sweet spot, and I have a couple of options to get rid of the DVAs completely if I can't find it, but it is just a bit more work that's all.

@YorkshireMidge As per your other post you will have to really check out the call guardian feature as that just may not work when the DV side is all connected, so do test it out by yourself if it is a relied upon phone feature, DV may have issues that you cannot get past, check both the EE Hub and also a DVA if that is intended to be possibly used. BT/EE's own system HiLo does try to help but like anything it's not 100% and scam's do get through at times.

There is a method of reinjecting the phone signal into your existing home phone wiring by feeding the output from the phone socket on the router into a master socket &, if necessary, isolating master socket from outside by disconnecting the A & B terminals.
